"Gil... Gil... Gil..." you say poking him in the arm trying to get him out of the daydream he's in. "Gilbert!" you say a bit louder while pinching his arm.

"Ah!" Gilbert exclaims being pulled out of his thoughts suddenly.

"Hahahaha, that was just too funny," you laugh at him. He pouts at your teasing but can't help as a small blush covers his cheeks and his lips slightly curve up into a smirk at your cute laughter. No matter how many girls he's dated he still says yours is the cutest.

"Anyways Gil," you say after you calm down a bit. "Did you ask anyone out to the dance?"

"What are you talking about?" Gilbert asks clueless. "There's no dance."

"Oh sorry, I seem to be hallucinating and imagining the banners and signs that say Homecoming is on Friday," you say sarcastically to him. He looks around the cafeteria you're sitting in before school and sees the signs hanging all around you two. You're early because Feliciano, your adoptive older brother, had to come early for a club so no one else is here. Aparently Ludwig and Feliciano are in the same club so Gilbert's here too. Your other brother Lovino had a doctor's appointment this morning so he won't get back until after lunch.

"So um, have you asked anyone?" Gilbert asks you breaking the silence between you two.

"Nope," you say bluntly looking around.

"Do you want to ask anyone?" he asks playing with his hands. You're not looking in his direction so he can't see the blush spread across your cheeks.

"Oh, um..." you studder at the sudden question. "Well there's this one p-person I really like," you start but quickly add. "But they probably don't feel the same..."

"Who is it?" Gilbert asks slightly depressed. It hurts him that you actually like someone and want to ask them to Homecoming.

"You know them..." you trail off uncertainly.

"Who?" Gilbert presses on. He wants to know exactly who it is. In his head Gilbert starts to list off all the girls he knows you know; Lilli, Bell, Elizabeta, Katayushi, Natalia, Mei... He tries to think of anyone else you know. Even though you're a freshman and he's a sophmore he still knows the small group you always hang out with.

"Um... They're really funny and can be arrogant sometimes but they're really nice to me... And I really think they're cute...," you say looking to the wall away from Gilbert with a large banner for homecoming  on it.

"Who is she?" Gilbert asks stressing every word. His voice almost cracks on the heartbreak he's feeling as you talk of them like this.

"Well... it's not a she as much as a he..." you trail off not being able to looking him in the eyes.

"What? It's a dude!" Gilbert exclaims shocked. He can't believe it, he's completely missed his chance with you. He should have asked you out yesterday when he planned to.Grabbing your shoulders he turns you so you're looking right at him. "Who is it?" he demands his eyes staring into yours. His expression is for once serious.

"It's um... uh...," you look around, your face going even brighter red. You're inwardly glad no one else can see you like this.

Gilbert gently but firmly holds your cheek with one of his hands to make sure you can't look away.

You can't find any way out of this so you do the first thing that comes to mind. Quickly pushing up you press your lips against his in a kiss. Gilbert's bright red eyes widen at first as yours stay just about half closed looking at your crush. Slowly his close and he pushes back against you deepening the kiss slightly. The need for air makes you pull away to breathe. Both of your faces are deep red in color as you sit there panting slightly as you look up at Gilbert.

Slowly a smirk makes its way onto his face as he looks down at you. "Kesesesesesese~!" he laughs his unusual laugh that always makes your heart beat faster. "_________," he starts as he stands up pulling you up from your seat to stand in front of you.

"Yes?" you ask nervously. You don't know if he just took that as a joke or seriously or how he feels.

"Would you like to go to Homecoming with me?" he asks standing right in front of you, just about an inch away from you, causing your blush to deepen. You nod your head yes and his smirk widens. Suddenly he pushes up against you causing you to lean back as he presses his lips back up against yours. His arms are on either sides of you on the table not allowing any escape, not that you would need it. You melt into the gentle kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck to hold you up, and it soon turns passionate as Gilbert glides his tongue along your bottom lip and you open it slightly for entrance. His tongue instantly darts in, tangling with yours in a fight for dominance. He quickly wins exploring your mouth as his prize.

After a little bit he pulls away and you both look up as the door opens up. Francis and Antonio, Gilbert's best friends, walk in to see you two in the position you're in.

"Finally!" Francis says dramatically as he smirks at the two of you.

"Took you long enough amigo," Antonio comments smiling at the two of you as he walks up.

"Ja I guess, kesesese~!" Gilbert laughs as you both stand up.

"So tell me, who made the first move?" Francis questions. "Was it you, _________?"

"Uh..." you stutter blushing. Nodding your head a little makes Francis smirk and turn to Antonio.

"You owe me five bucks," Francis says triumphantly. Antonio reluctantly pulls the money out of his pocket and hands it over to Francis.

"How could you not pick the awesome me!?" Gilbert demands out of Francis.

"I simply know these things, just like I knew you two would get together~," Francis tells him.

"Whatever," Gilbert says turning away from him in a pout but seeing you there he kisses your cheek, causing you to turn red again, before leading you out of the cafeteria, backpacks in hand.

"Gil, where are we going? I have to get to first hour," you tell him as Gilbert walks with you through the hallways that are slowly filling up.

"Und the awesome me is walking you there," he proclaims. "Besides," he says pecking your cheek as you make it to your math class. "I couldn't just leave mein awesome boyfriend all alone." He laughs before leaving, rounding the corner to go to his own class. Your hand is touching the place he kissed you before you shake yourself out of the daze and walk into your class.

All through out your classes you can't stop thinking of Gilbert and that kiss you shared. Truth be told that is your first kiss like that. Eventually lunch comes around and you sit down next to your usual friends that share this lunch with you, Ludwig, Feliciano, and Kiku.

You're staring off into space when all of the sudden you're joilted out of your thoughts by Feliciano basically screaming in your ear.

"Huh? What was that?" you ask recovering from the shock.

"Are you alright _________? You seem to be zoning out an awful lot today," Kiku asks.

"I'm fine," you tell him. Turning back to Feli you notice his eyes are closed as usual.

"Ve~! ___________, Ludwig and me are going to Homecoming together!" he says happily clinging to Ludwig's arm happily causing Ludwig to blush. "And Kiku and Heracles are going together!"

You turn to Kiku just in time to see him hide his blushing face behind a manga. "So you finally asked him?" you question Kiku.

"H-Hai," he answers nodding from behind his book.

"So ________, are you going with anyone to Homecoming?" Feliciano asks you innocently causing you to blush slightly.

"Um... yeah..." you say picking at your bought lunch.

"Who? Who?" Feliciano questions excitedly.

"G-Gilbert," you say blushing more.

"Oh I'm so happy for you!" Feliciano says happily hugging you. This causes you to blush even more in embarrassment.

"When did he ask?" Ludwig asks. Gilbert had stated that he would ask you out yesterday but Ludwig doubted that happened.

"This morning before school started," you tell him after Feliciano lets go of you.

After lunch you have two hours and then as you enter your sixth hour you remember one vital thing. You share this class with Gilbert. Sitting down in your seat in the back of the class you're pulled out of your own thoughts as you hear Gilbert's laugh echo loudly throughout the class.

"The awesome me is here!" Gilbert proclaims throughout the class and you watch the teacher sigh at his loud behavior. All the girls are watching him as he walks over and sits in his assigned seat next to you.

"Shut up stupid potato eater!" Lovino yells at him as he enters. Then you realize something else, Lovi's going to be pissed when he finds out about everything. You already know he's not happy Feliciano's going out with Ludwig and now that you're going out with Gilbert the last thing you can think of is him being happy.

Class is just about to end when a girl walks up to Gilbert. Not just any girl though, one of the most popular girls in the school, Elizabeta Hedervary. Even though everyone says she's the nicest girl out there you've seen her hitting people with frying pans before. This sets you on the edge whenever she's near you.

"Hey Gilly," Eliza giggles in a weirdly pitched voice.

"Ja?" Gilbert asks looking up from the homework you've been explaining to him so he doesn't completely fail it.

"I was wondering if you would want to go to Homecoming with me?" she asks in a flirty way, blinking her eyes too much and leaning forwards so Gilbert can see a bit of her chest from his seat.

"Nein," he says waving her off as if she's just an annoying fly. He's about to write something down when she cuts his line of concentration.

"Why not?" she demands crossing her arms over her chest, completely changing her attitude from flirty to bitchy.

"Cause," Gilbert says annoyed. "I already have a date to Homecoming."

"Who is she?" she says not believing him for a second. Who would pick another girl over her?

"__________," Gilbert says confidently wrapping his arm around your shoulders, causing you to blush.

"You're kidding right?" she asks still not believing in the slightest. Gilbert leans over to you, pressing his lips up to yours in a kiss. This one is gentle and sweet and as he pulls away you can see the completely enraged face of Eliza.

"Believe me now?" he asks her a smirk on his face.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Eliza shouts in outrage. "You picked _________ over me?!?!?" At this Lovino looks over to see Gilbert with his arm now around your waist.

"Keep your stupid hands off my fratello!" Lovino yells at Gilbert. Lovino is instantly standing in front of your desk glaring down at Gilbert.

"Is it illegal to have my hands on my boyfriend?" Gilbert asks, a confident smirk on his face.

"Your dumb fratello is already dating Feliciano! Go out with the cagna and leave my fratello alone!" Lovino demands. You lower your head slightly as you look down at your papers, your hair shadowing your face. Being the center of attention isn't one of your favorite hobbies and being the center of an arguement is even worse.

"Nein," Gilbert says stubbornly. His smirk is replaced with an unmoving glare, similar to the ones Ludwig uses. Suddenly the bell goes off, saving you to watch a fight break out that revolves mostly around you.
